Why am I a "Viper" ??

Hi All…here I’m…after an year long intention of blogging I’ve finally decided to post my first blog in Jan 2010….!! Couple of years back when I used to read other blogs I felt its such a waste of time…people publishing their whims & fancies to the public and people wasting time reading them, commenting them (psst…sometimes I even got mobbed by avid bloggers to read their blogs & comment)…..but gradually the number of bloggers started raising and has currently reached an extend where everyone around me started talking (rather marketing) their blogs…. and finally the scene turned around when my better half started inking out her thoughts and making it public catching eyebrows (both high & low..including mine)…...so its sheer peer pressure that’s made me start a blog of my own….!! I’ve been thinking (rather planning & strategizing) about this for the last one year…even created a blog id sometime mid of 2009 and have been postponing my first blog… giving ‘n’ number of excuses to people whom I had threatened an year back that I’m gonna blog..! well guess I’ve embroidered enough to justify my transition from “I hate Blogs” to am one of ‘em…!!

As in Intro I thought of bouncing off my thoughts on why do I refer myself as “Viper” in most of my e-avatars… from my school days till now…..from gaming profiles to naming my laptop and finally to this blog page..!! If we do a google images on Viper we would get to see the car (dodge viper) & the snake and wiki would list out references ranging from comics to missiles...!! So am I a fan of the Dodge Viper from Chrysler…No…!! Do I look like the Snake..??..No way (just looked at the mirror again)……!! Do I love the Missile or Jet fighter ?? No…No..Not at all….then WHY…?? (to be read with heavy BGM behind…something like three “tangs” with a cymbal would do) (To be imagined...rather read…in black & white with a soft melody playing in the background) Guess I should scan my memory and see when did I use it first….hmmm...yes..that’s it.…Viper was born back in 1999 as my user profie in “Unreal” (one of the first person pc games I fell in love with)….think I wanted to pass the message to other online gaming peers that I’m “Deadly” as in dangerous like the Snake & the missiles and fast like the Dodge Viper ….and then there was no stopping…the Viper virus started spreading through my fingers to all my e-profiles….and still haunting my digital world…something which I could never become in a real world....psst not that am completely harmless ;-)

Actually am getting bored typing out this blog…am sure you must be too …apologies….would try to make my forthcoming blogs a little more interesting…!! A word of caution…travelogues with clicks (my own) are what’s in my mind on my bloggin way forward…and I call them “Viper Trails”…(to be read at your own risk)...!!
